How to book a hibachi chef
Booking a hibachi chef takes about two minutes: pick your date and time, add your contact details, tell us your guest count and address, choose a package, then review and send. No payment is needed to reserve your date — your Reservation Manager calls or texts to confirm the details, and a 20% deposit locks it in.

What happens after you request a hibachi catering quote
We reply within a few hours on business days with an exact price for your date, headcount and address. If everything looks right, a 20% deposit reserves your hibachi chef. Three days before the party we confirm the final guest count and protein choices, and on the day your chef arrives about 30 minutes early to set up the grill. Prefer to talk it through? Booking questions
How far in advance should I book a hibachi chef?
2–3 weeks ahead is ideal, especially for weekends. We can sometimes fit same-week parties, so call us if your date is soon.
What's the deposit and cancellation policy?
A 20% deposit reserves your date. Cancel 7+ days out for a full refund, 3–7 days out for a 50% refund; within 72 hours the deposit is forfeited.
How can I pay?
We accept cash, credit card, Stripe, Zelle and check (processing fees apply to some methods). Cash is preferred.
What's the minimum for a private hibachi party?
All parties have a $600 food minimum. Regular and Premium work best for about 10 guests or more; smaller groups can reach the minimum with extra proteins or add-ons. The Large Gathering buffet requires at least 40 guests.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Travel is free within 30 miles of San Jose. Beyond that we charge a small mileage fee, which we include in your quote before you book.
